Exciting outdoor family circus theatre show, based on an Aesop's fable, celebrating the British weather! Co-Produced with Tell Tale Hearts.

This bright and colourful outdoor spectacle integrates acrobatics, physical theatre and juggling into a simple imaginative narrative that will delight audiences from 2 to 92. A perfect show for summer festivals and outdoor events. Two Rival Siblings Battle the Elements in a Competition to Prove their Strength; This turbulent struggle of Sun ‘vs’ Wind heats up with audience participation in true street style with crowds vowing for their favourite character to out shine the other! There is also a chance for children in the audience to get involved by creating the different weather conditions needed for the show.

about the artist

Serious Mischief Theatre Company was founded in 2014 out of a production by the acclaimed international children's theatre company, Tell Tale Hearts. The company is made up of 2 experienced circus and physical theatre artists; Jake England-Johns and Lucy Spielberg (Lucy Lost-it). They weave together the serious and the playful to create work with a twinkle in it’s eye.

Works best outdoors, but can also be adapted to indoors.
Can also work in a smaller space of 9m (w) x 7m (d).
Flat ground: can be performed on both a grass and hard/paved surface (not suited to steep slope or cobbled paving).

Access to changing room & water
Can be performed up to a maximum of 3 shows/day
Re-set between shows (25 mins+ break) Minimum of 2 hours between show start times.

Children and families. Suitable for all ages, 2 to 92 years.
Can work for large audiences but can also be adapted as a smaller intimate performance.

Prices vary depending on the the travelling distance from base in Bristol and there is flexibility depending on the number of days booked.
