SHELL SHOCK: Time to Talk

by Smokescreen Productions CIC

spoken-word-and-live-literature, theatre

An old soldier, with a few bruises, and a story to tell

about the production

"There's nothing wrong with me - it's the others!" After a long service career, Tommy returns to 'normal' life. After all he's seen, civvy street will be a breeze, right? As he trails around a crowded shopping mall, tackles a job centre interview and takes on a night out on the town his observations on the absurdities of the everyday are “comic and convincing” (InDaily), "fabulously witty" (Clothesline) and "moving and insightful" (BroadwayWorld)... but as life conspires against him, nothing is safe from his increasing outrage... "A roller coaster ride through PTSD and beyond" (Herald). Best Solo Show, Adelaide Fringe
