Noel Coward's comedy masterpiece
about the production
Following 2019’s highly acclaimed tour of The 39 Steps – A Radio Drama, BlackBox Theatre Company returns to the stage with an outdoor production of Noel Coward’s timeless classic, Blithe Spirit. Charles Condomine, a successful novelist, has had two wives – one is most certainly living and the other is most certainly dead! However, after a rather eventful séance held by the eccentric Madame Arcati, the ghost of his temperamental first wife has come to visit, much to the consternation of the current Mrs Condomine. Two wives, ‘living’ under the same roof? What could possibly go wrong?
