about the production
Three festive fables are brought to life to teach each of our 3 librarians a valuable lesson with more than a nod to some of the most famous fairy-tales around. The stories of ‘A Christmas Carol’ mashed up with ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’, ‘The Red Shoes’ and ‘The Princess and the Pea (sprout) are realised in an exciting reimagination like never before! These fantastic festive fairy-tales are brought to the stage by the brilliant Wrongsemble with a sprinkling of live music, wonderful characters, puppetry and live Foley.
about the artist
Wrongsemble is a Leeds-based theatre company specialising in working with and creating work for young people, schools and families. We believe in art for everyone, with accessibility and 'shared experience' at the heart of all we do. Formed in 2015, the company was born out of desire to make family theatre for all ages. Our artists are all from/based to the North of England, and we strive to ensure that they represent the excitingly diverse communities we serve. In 2020 Wrongsemble won the Child Friendly Leeds Award for 'Inspiring Creativity through Arts and Culture'

Technical staff required
1 in-house stage-manager/ technician to assist with get-in, focus, plot, get-out, and some sound cues.
Sound
We are touring a laptop with QLAB or equivalent so will require a mini-jack into your P.A. system. The sound should emanate from the performance area.
LX and Pre-rig
We are touring a laptop with QLAB or equivalent. A full pre-rig is required. Some specials will be supplied by the company. We are able to respond/adapt to technical capacity of tour venues in most circumstances. A finalised plan will be created on request.

The original run of this show had various accessible performances including; Relaxed Performances for audiences with Learning Disabilities and/or Sensory Impairments, Integrated BSL interpretation, and Integrated Audio Description. These performances could be replicated on request for an additional fee.
This show is supported with a Teacher’s Pack and a range of Educational opportunities available by pre-arrangement with Wrongsemble. All shows have a post-show ‘Meet & Greet’ onstage session.
Bookings are for a minimum of 10 days, priced at £11,000 + VAT. A 10 day run offers
a maximum of 24 performances, with a maximum of 3 performances a day.
Additional days cost £850+VAT per day
