Children and Families - Ideal for pre School
If you haven't seen it already I would certainly recommend you catch a showing of this fantastic festive show before Christmas Eve. The studio was perfectly equipped for children of all ages, with cushions and chairs and a relaxed environment where the adults were able to enjoy the experience and witness the magic of Christmas through the children's wonderment.
The performance ends with an appearance by Santa himself complete with a sprinkling of snow which really adds to the magic. There is an opportunity for every child in the audience to sit with Santa in his sleigh, have the obligatory photo and receive a Christmas present, which is a lovely way to cap off a charming performance. Santa’s New Sleigh is a real treat, especially suited to families with younger children, and runs at Theatre Severn’s Walker Theatre until Saturday December 24.
At the end of the performance (which lasts around 45 minutes) you are given the opportunity for every child in the audience to go up on “the stage” with Santa in his sleigh and Sprocket to have your photo take and the kids even receive a Christmas present! It really was a lovely afternoon that helped us all feel extra festive and made the kids roar with laughter as they joined in.
