Odysseus journeys home. Penelope awaits her husband. Refugees long for peace. Is a new start possible after 10 years of war? A new visceral, physical adaptation of Homer’s exciting adventure story of homecoming with gods, monsters and the hope for peace. Set against the tragedy of war, with refugees seeking safety and a place to call home. Expect songs, laughs and adventure as Odysseus learns to forgive himself as well as others. All the while attempting to appease the gods and fight off all the monsters, challenges and beautiful nymphs the immortals can throw at him. Perfect for all ages.

All Greek To Me are a story-telling, physical theatre company based in Brighton. We make accessible, thrilling theatre that engages the heart and the mind. We are the brainchild of the theatre-maker Andy Hoggarth and a collaboration with the best creative talent in and around Brighton. Stage needs headroom to allow use of 3m tall puppet.
Although The Odyssey covers adult themes of the aftermath of war, including PTSD and refugees, these are handled sensitively and the adventure elements of the story ensure that it is suitable for family audiences.
1 hour Physical Theatre workshops available at all levels KS3, KS4, KS5 to adult. Location to be provided by venue. Cost by arrangement.
