LET’S BUILD A PLANET! is an interactive two-hander for ages 4 and above; full of drama, physical theatre, character comedy, dance and music. Combining performance and sustainable thinking, the show immerses participants in a dynamic narrative in which two subversives - 'The Incredible Rebel All-Stars' – collaborate with the audience to outsmart repressive forces and build a brand new, fully functioning planet, live onstage. Packed with opportunities for audience involvement, this is science-fiction meets green economy meets anarchic comedy with a people-powered twist. A pertinent play about reimagining a future for the Earth that's non-dystopian.

We require a technician to operate sound and lighting. There is no 'essential' equipment outside of standard PA system and lighting rig.

Children's workshops can be run at the venue or local primary schools. Based on the themes of the show and using storytelling, improvisation and forum theatre techniques, together with pupils’ existing curriculum learning, performer and children will devise what type of plant and animal life a new planet should have, as well as the kind of social, political and economic activities there should be, and how these could be successfully implemented.
Length: 1 hour per session
Participants: 30 max per session
Cost: £60 for the first session in a day, £45 per additional session.
A negotiable guarantee of £500 for 1 performance, or £750 for 2 performances at the same venue on the same day, with potential additional travel costs dependent on venue location.
