Go back in time and follow Richard as he is awoken from his car park tomb and tries to stop a curse and protect his two nephews from danger. Sound simple enough? Think again. From witches, human birds, flamboyant French kings, no nonsense policemen, murderers, salesmen, lizards, 35 characters and three actors. Richard’s journey won’t be easy but it WILL be entertaining!

It’s like Horrible Histories for adults and, if Shakespeare had envisaged Richard III as comedy material, I’m sure he would have approved.
You know you are in for a good laugh when even the programme causes you to chuckle on the way into the auditorium...Right from the moment the lights dim the gags start to flow and don’t stop for the next hour and 20 minutes
Without a shadow of the doubt the main selling point of Car Park King is the acting. The cast; James Beglin, Jessica McDonagh and Kris W Laudrum are all excellent, something which is rare in any production. McDonagh’s ability to change character and accent at the drop of a hat was something to behold.
