Discover the human behind Schizophrenia
about the production
‘Schizophrenia’ aims to highlight the human behind the condition to the public. Using reminiscence based theatre techniques alongside the concept of achieving empathy for audiences. We look to create a performance that builds itself upon the memories of both suffers and third parties, using medical statistics and interviews we aim to create a highly modern contemporary performance that will push boundaries and showcase the people behind schizophrenia. The play engages with young audiences and mixes physical theatre and contemporary theatre techniques to create an immersive atmosphere that will leave audience questions misconceptions and hopefully understanding the truth behind Schizophrenia.

Our production is suitable to all people regardless of disability and accessibility needs.
We have alongside our production a workshop to gather new memories that runs within the same space before the productions that helps create a therapeutic experience for third parties involved with Schizophrenia. This however isnt mandatory and merely works as support to the play's themes and builds awareness and immersed experience alongside the show. This additionally works as a 10 person minimum 1 hour 30 minutes workshop, that can be placed after the play or on separate days this is usually run as box office split with the venue.
We require either a box office split of 70 -30% or an upfront cost of £2,500. We do negotiate on the cost if their is suitable need for the production in raising awareness or as educational benefit to the community.
