Lightbox Theatre brings to life Maurice Maeterlinck's classic fairytale to life. Centring on a boy's quest through various magical and fantastical worlds to find the blue bird of happiness, this is a charming scaled back production with a beautiful score, ingenious use of props and performed by a multi-roling cast of 4. Originally staged in the round, the show can be adapted for a thrust, traverse or end-on configuration and is perfect for intimate studio spaces.
