The Girl From Mars

by Collar and Cuffs Co

music-and-opera, theatre

The Martian invasion begins! Sci Fi 90s Britpop jukebox musical comedy inspired by 1950s B Movie 'The Devil Girl From Mars'.

about the production

Premiered at Brighton Fringe Festival 2016 followed by an Arts Council England funded audience development tour taking musical theatre to live music venues across the UK. The full show was performed at the Shiiine On Weekender in November 2016, alongside many of the original artists and bands covered by the soundtrack. Discover what happens when a Martian dominatrix accidentally crashes her flying saucer behind a rural pub in a snow storm. She finds her plans to save her species thwarted by a barmaid and a wannabe rock star. All the biggest Britpop anthems plus lots of 90s nostalgia.

The show is amazing. Your cast is fierce. Best of 90s songs with lots of swagger.

Saffron, Republica

Ace show. Just brilliant fun. We sang all the way through.
