theatre
Fred Theatre brings Shakespeare’s tragedy of greed, lust and betrayal to life in a new and intimate production for 2017.
about the production
In an action-packed 90 minutes, six actors will present this timeless classic in a contemporary setting. The production asks who, in the twenty-first century, can be trusted to tell us the truth? How easy is it to manipulate others? And, what happens if ambition is left unchecked? Fred’s production is suitable for students studying Macbeth at GCSE level and above, and the company is actively promoting the show to schools across the country.
about the artist
Fred was establish in 2012 by its artistic director, Robert F. Ball. To date we've staged around a dozen productions; a mix of revitalised classic texts and new writing.
