Exciting & dynamic 2 hander that powerfully blends physical theatre & new writing, offering a refreshing take on the myth of Helen of Troy
about the production
An ageing, glamorous icon is held captive in a darkened room, with only a shadowy male figure for company. Is he her lover, jailer or executioner? Is she a prisoner of circumstance or complicit in her own demise? Inspired by the myth of Helen of Troy this intriguing, provocative and poetic physical/aerial theatre adaptation explores themes of ageing, identity and celebrity. An epic yet intimate contemporary take on a mythical narrative suitable for all ages.
