Tell Tale Twit... A Storytelling Show by Gav Cross

by Gav Cross: Storyteller

comedy, children-and-family

Dare you go back to those Nursery Rhymes? Nonsense, nastiness and roaring chaos as we turn our childhood tales upside down to find out what!

about the production

Lurking on our bookshelves, forgotten and dusty from lack of love, sit short sinister stories. Hiding in plain sight. Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales. Some famous, some lost….for good reason? You’ll find out. Join Gav Cross for deep dives into the words we seem to know so well but we never really listened to. More nonsense, nastiness and roaring chaos as we turn our childhood tales upside down to find out what lies beneath!

about the artist

Following on from “Twisted Tales for Terrible Children...”, join Gav for laughter and surprises, in a storytelling show designed to make you laugh, think carefully and approach that children’s library with caution! Nominated for ‘Best Kids Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2023. Gav Cross: Storyteller has been a theatremaker and twit for over 30 years. He hosts 'Funny Looking Kids: Comedy Club' in venues and at festivals and is well versed at making families laugh and jump a little in their seats.
