Come Together Write Now!
about the production
A brand new event, the POETRY PICNIC! A snack heavy celebration of music and poetry, with poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko. We’ll do some fun (and quite silly) games to get to know each other and build your confidence and skill with words, then help you pen a poem with the power to send your picnic blanket skywards. And we’ll play some Beatles meets the Beastie Boys style bangers of our own. Please note, this event is Bring Your Own Biscuits.

Poetry Picnic is a hamper packed show full of fun and delights
Poetry Picnic was the highlight of my day. What an entertaining and fun hour – the children produced some brilliant work. I love the fact that all you needed was a piece of paper, pen and to free up your brain and that there are no right or wrong ways to write poetry just do it!
Poetry Picnic was a perfect addition to our Family festival programme. It is an interactive and fun show engaging all generations so the whole family can enjoy it together. The team are collaborative, professional and a pleasure to work with.
£800 for 1 show and £1000 for 2 shows in 1 day
