In a makeshift cardboard home-made home Lives a kind old lady with a heart of gold. Rescuing creatures great and small, Dustbin Doris will amaze us all. Rhubarb Theatre, known for their imaginative styles of storytelling, perform their latest bin-full of fantasy for all the family. Prepare for joy and tenderness, laughter and tears, with surprises around every corner. Dustbin Doris is waste-deep in theatrical play, puppetry, mask, dance, song and lots of laughter.

Rhubarb Theatre delivers creative, original and theatrical experiences to entertain and stimulate imaginations of every age. Formed in November 2000 by professional actors Philip and Kirsty Mead, Rhubarb Theatre tours internationally with a diverse programme of performances, street theatre, storytelling and workshops. Rhubarb have entertained audiences of all ages in schools, theatres, heritage sites, festivals and arts centres. They have toured to hundreds of venues across the UK and beyond, taken premieres to the nationally acclaimed SPARK Children's Festival and Sydney Contemporary Art Gallery and have been wowing the crowds at Latitude and Glastonbury festivals since 2012.

The show can bring the full theatrical experience into your venue – we just need a hall space and a power socket - available NOW for booking! We tour with our own PA and lighting and operate from back-stage area.

5yrs+ family show (the show has mask in it, so we recommend no younger than 5yrs)

All our shows and workshops are totally inclusive - no-one is excluded.
Our shows are very visual, musical and colourful with little in the way of language and therefore loved by SEN schools and can also be enjoyed by families with English as their second language.

There is an after-show chat with the actors, so children can ask how & why questions.
