about the artist
leo&hyde is a multi-award-winning musical theatre company. We use contemporary music to tell stories about modern life, technology and social media. Our stories are aimed at all ages, but particularly resonant with younger audiences who'd like SIX, Dear Evan Hansen and Everbody's Talking About Jamie. Since forming in 2017, we've toured our work nationwide, including The Lowry, Hope Mill Theatre, The Arcola, The Turbine Theatre, Birmingham Old Rep, Keswick's Theatre By The Lake, The King’s Head Theatre and the New Wimbledon Theatre. Set: Modular set with integrated LED lighting, outlining the parameters of 7m (width) by 6m (depth) by 3.4m (height).
Lighting: Touring off its own dimmer and splitter rack. ETC Nomad Desk provided. Generic front of house cover with LED set.
Sound: Full range FOH PA is required.We provide our own Behringer X32 rack (roughly 40 x 50 x 50 cm) with 4 radio mic receivers; our soundtrack is on QLAB that is connected to our rack; we require 2 XLR into L-R FOH.

1)Youth theatre workshops: "Body Confidence in Musical Theatre"- This practice-based workshop led by two actors from GUY is about being confident as yourself as an actor, and includes body awareness and physical exercises, and devising a scene from a musical about body insecurity.
2)Creative Workshops (for all ages) - Taking the core theme of body-image, this workshop will use the songs from GUY to encourage participants to reflect on the way they feel in their own bodies, and finding ways to feel positive and comfortable in their own skin. Aimed at participants of all ages and backgrounds.

GUY has been performed in venues between 60 and 400 seaters. For smaller venues, we're very open to negotiation - our top priority is bringing our show to audiences around the UK!
