The classic tale is given an aerialcircus twist as a colourful acrobatic adventure sensitively introducing young audiences to climate change
about the production
Follow our hero Phileas Fogg as he ventures around the planet, riding elephants, rushing through the rainforest and across oceans to win his wager. On his way, he’ll witness some of the dangers our planet faces because of modern travel, from birds affected by oil spills, rubbish thrown into the ocean and monkeys in danger as the trees are cut down in the rainforest. The colourful narrative of skilled acrobatics unfolds together with bubbles, confetti, flags and the eclectic sounds of steamboats, waves, trains and jungles. Following the performance, the set becomes an aerial playground for everyone! https://www.rogueplay.co.uk/around-the-world-in-80-days

A daytime show with no lighting requirements for outdoor performance.
For indoor performance, ideally a full rig is required, but we can work with the lighting specifications of the venue. We also travel with LED uplighters that fit to the rig itself.
The sound is a combination of pre-recorded and live music. The show tours with a laptop on which the pre-recorded sound is held and cued. We require a standard theatrical sound rig to include and onstage plug in for 2 x mics, keyboard, violin & guitar
