theatre, children-and-family
An environmental tale about the world's most trafficked mammal & the power of one girl's courage in her convictions, with puppets & poetry.
about the production
Thrilling, funny and thought-provoking, Pangolin is the story of a young girl who, by defying the will of her poacher parents, learns that everyone has the power to make a difference, no matter how small, by bringing the pangolin - this remarkable yet little known, and critically endangered, real life animal - to the attention of the world. With puppets, poetry, original music and more than a touch of silly(!), this timely and urgent environmentally focused show, and the educational wraparound, is presented in association with Born Free, the acclaimed wildlife charity.
about the artist
Ships in the Night makes theatre on contemporary issues that in the future we might wish we’d interrogated more when we could, by telling big, bold theatrical stories about changing the world.
