Memory Collectors is a non-verbal, physical storytelling show about 2 sisters who are trying to bring their memories back to life. The show is a throwback to silent movies, with the 2 girls using gesture and mime to re-tell their memories. The audience are key to the success of the girls venture, bringing them to play key characters in the piece through gesture alone. The audience are taken on a journey to explore the wonder of memory, whilst also being encouraged to create new memories today

about the artist

Same Difference Arts, led by Natasha Glew, was created in 2015 to make outdoor theatre and performance which is both interactive and engaging for audiences. Our ethos is to combine street theatre skills with contemporary art practice to create work which links audience to their immediate environment. Since our beginning, Same Difference Arts has continued to invent unique and exciting projects which have toured all across the UK. Same Difference Arts are inspired by such artists as Francis Alys, Heath Robinson, Invisible Flock and Wild Works.

Performance Area Requirements.
Outdoor space can be concrete, grass, cobbles. Ideally not gravel or sand if the bike is going to be ridden.
Performance area size should be a minimum of 5m x 5m. Ideal space is 10m wide, 5m deep.
Once in the space performers park the bike in the middle at the back of the set, with a rope set out for the audience to sit in D shape facing the performance space.
Audiences like to sit and watch the show, so providing seating, or a clean ground to sit on will encourage this.
