Based on a well-known Cornish legend this uniquely heart warming story of the friendship between a fearless fisherman and his devoted cat will warm the cockles of everyone’s hearts... almost as much as an ‘efty portion of stargazy pie! Our adaptation, performed by a cast of four performers and actor-musicians, i is told using a blend of live traditional Cornish music, puppetry and action. Whilst being faithful to the story told in the much-loved 90s children book the show has a modern, rustic aesthetic with a strong sense of Cornish folklore and community spirit.

Most suited to in-the-round venues, however end-on venues may be considered if on-stage seating is available.
Set: The set consists of nine floor pieces and scaffold structure with a sail-like roof and projector which lock together. The set is designed to play on top of other sets, pack down quickly and be stored easily for venues where it is playing alongside another show.
All LX equipment is toured by the company and self contained within the set. All lights are LED, and triggered by on-stage ‘GO’ buttons by the cast
This magical production is for the whole family, not just children, to enjoy and has been performed end-on and in-the-round in 70 seat to 700 seat theatres. Our short open-air tour and both Christmas residencies sold out with a total audience reach of over 8000. Our marketing primarily targets the families of children aged 3 to 11.
