Kai and Gerda had been friends for as long as they could remember, Day followed day, Always the same, Until in a whirl of magic and deception, splinters of a magical broken mirror blow in the wind, freezing hearts and changing everything! As Kai is pulled under the spell of the powerful snow queen of ice and coldness, we follow Gerda’s quest to save her friend and return life to normal. Can things ever be the same again? Mike Kenny has taken Hans Christian Andersen’s most highly acclaimed story and simplified it into a tale for the young.

tutti frutti has been delighting children aged 3+ and their families with meaningful, imaginative, story based theatre for 25-years. We tour nationally and internationally to studio theatres, arts centres, schools and village halls undertaking around 200 performances and reaching over 20,000 children each year. We can perform one or two performances in the day. We require a performance space of 5m x 5m x 3m height; 3 hour get in and 1 hour get out. The performance will work well with or without lighting and as such is suitable for a variety of schools, community venues and theatres. The touring team will comprise of 3 actors and 1 stage manager.

Our performers always welcome the audience to the performance in character before the start of the show and meet the audience in the foyer at the end of the show. We welcome relaxed performances, audio-described or sign interpreted performances and touch tours. Please discuss any requirements you may have.
We provide 15 posters and 500 flyers per day of performances as part of the fee. A trailer will be provided to assist in the marketing and promotion of the show together with a media pack. Classroom activities and family activities will be available on our website www.tutti-frutti.org.uk. The actors greet the audience in character prior to the show and on exit in the foyer after the show.
