'The Tale of the Cockatrice' is suitable for everyone aged 4 and up. Enjoyed by adults as much as by children, it is particularly perfect for 7-11 year-olds, filling a niche in family theatre where slightly older children are sometimes left out.

Children and adults alike were sat captivated as the story unfolded, and found it impossible not to love the vibrant, charismatic but muddle-headed storytellers as they spun the tale of the terrifying beast, and the adorable nun who is tasked with saving the day. The play was sincere, funny and inventive, and, with just a dab of social commentary, is a genuine work of art.

The Voice

The Tale of the Cockatrice evokes thoughts about good and evil, killing and life and raises a lot of questions about the nature of humankind. It is a well-crafted production, performed by two talented storytellers, puppeteers and musicians.

Broadway Baby

A quirky, clever and thoroughly enjoyable production. My six-year-old daughter loved it! The excellent, complex script was delivered brilliantly...Overall, a very clever mix of live music, original song, physical theatre, sound effects, dance, humour, terror and puppetry.
