about the production
Casket Case is a show about our fear of death, dying and being dead. It’s about Jozey, who doesn’t really do anything that could possibly, even slightly, increase her risk of dying. Not even putting salt on her chips. Madness. It’s Jozey’s birthday, she’s blown out the candles and made a wish, but her anxieties are still spiralling out of control and her friends are faced with just two options - kill, or cure. Casket Case has previewed at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, Sprint Festival at Camden People's Theatre and will premiere at DEparture Lounge (Derby) Saturday July 22nd 2017.

Flickbook Theatre is a Lincolnshire based company. We make theatre that borrows from the languages of contemporary performance and traditional storytelling. We love theatre that is innovative, live, alive and joyous, so that is what we make. We are supported by In Good Company, Arts Council England and Lincoln Performing Arts Centre. Our previous show, Cartography, has toured nationally and at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2015).

Audiences who enjoy contemporary storytelling, contemporary theatre, folk storytelling, original song, and those who want to indulge their morbid curiosity! The show is funny and engaging and will appeal to those who enjoy the work of companies such as little bulb and bucket Club. recommended for Ages 14 and up.
Casket Case combines spoken text, live music and bit of dancing! We can provide touch tours, a meeting with the performers or large text scripts before any of our shows, just contact us before hand if required. Casket Case is also suitable for BSL interpretation.
