The Little Match Girl, a Warming Tale for Winter

by The Last Baguette theatre company

theatre, children-and-family

A family show for Christmas inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's traditional fairy tale.

about the production

London. The last evening of the year. A little girl struggles fiercely through the snow. In a vain attempt to stay warm she strikes a match. In the fatal cold the flames blaze to life and guide her to fantastic Christmas visions. In this magic, humorous and poignant show, Last Baguette use physical comedy, live music and visual storytelling to shine a light on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale. Written by award-winning playwright T. A. Woodsmith and directed by international director Susana Alcantud.
