An end of life comedy.
about the production
Mother is dying slowly, the wait is unbearable, the pressures insurmountable, the thoughts unbelievable. Surely a gesture towards God's bigger plan is needed? Sisters, Stella and Connie may be different from one another but share a common and profound love for their Mother. Can things really continue as they are?
about the artist
Motormouse Productions started its work in Edinburgh Fringe Festival - with 'Kiss my Honeymoon Lips' a comedy set in a 1970's hairdressers. Revue shows followed, corporate work and stand-up comedy. In recent times the company has taken a more dramatic shift, blending difficult subjects with humour. It is that that creates the Motormouse style. Karen Bartholomew, founder of the company is thrilled the Arts Council and Unity Trust Theatre are supporting this year's touring production of 'God's Waiting Room' - an end of life comedy which was a hit in the Camden Fringe and now set to reach a wider. www.motormouseproductions.co.uk

Stella and Connie resort to the unthinkable – killing their terminally ill mother.
"If you're going to see one play about the end of life make it this one, as you will laugh far more than you will cry."
‘Brilliantly written and great performances.’ 'Great show tonight at The Rosemary Branch 'God's Waiting Room' by Karen Bartholomew. Very dark and funny-a great script and acting.'
