Variations of Pointe II is a new triple bill program. It includes stunning Repertoire Ballet, a hilarious new age twist inspired by Austin Powers as well as Niewelt's new and breathtaking neo-classical creation Consequential Gaps. The dancers come from Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Hungary and Germany and this international cast of stars will move you with every step they take. In the first part the audience will see sections of famous, yet not widely seen classics such as Le spectre de la Rose, La Péri and La Sylphide. about the artist
JSLN Dance Company was founded in 2012, originally as JuSt Live daNce Productions by Sören Magnus Niewelt and Jessica Sarah Larbig, with a vision of bringing dance to a wider public and to demonstrate the versatility of dance and dancers. Artistic Director Niewelt has a strong belief that dancers must be versatile in all genres of dance in order to bring life to his own exciting choreography. The company has now developed to a very strong neo-classical company which combines music and dance to create excitement for all ages.

Our program can be adapted to all sizes and the company has done a variety of settings during the first tour from as small as 3 times 3 metres to 10 times 12. So anything goes with us.
Our program is designed for all ages. As it is divers there is something in it for everyone, all ages and types will find something to enjoy.
Watched JSLN today with my daughter and her friend. We enjoyed all three pieces, but our favourite was 'Allo 'Allo. The girls are 10 years old, but they could still follow the story and found it hilarious. The workshop afterwards was entertaining and informative in a relaxed atmosphere. The girls enjoyed being able to participate. They are looking forward to tomorrow's extended workshop. JSLN are such a beautiful company of people. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
This was certainly a good choice to end the Fringe on: a very satisfying piece of contemporary ballet. JSLN Dance is definitely a company to look out for in future.

Provided access to the venues for audiences is not an issue, performances are accessible to all. The company has experience of working to develop school workshops tailored to the needs of disabled children of all levels of cognition as well as performing in care homes for dementia sufferers and in hospices.
To complement our performances, we are offering workshops to schools to introduce children to the interaction between music, dance and the stage, as well as dance workshops and masterclassses to local dance schools, tailored to the requirements of each school. In addition, we offer "behind the scenes" experiences allowing audiences, particularly families the opportunity to learn how a dance company functions.
JSLN Dance Company are happy to work with performance venues on the most appropriate financial deals to suit both parties whether on a ticket split or full fee basis.
