An epic musical folktale told on a miniature scale.
about the production
Haunting original live music breathes life into the story of a Boy who bottles up his heart and throws it into the sea. A large, wooden, beautifully carved pop-up book on which puppets roam, accompanies these echoing soundscapes. Join our hero as he is thrown into a wild journey of discovery and danger to recover his missing heart. A Heart at Sea is the collaboration between indie-folk artist Avi Simmons and visual artist Peter Morton. It is a piece of stunning visual storytelling set to atmospheric musical performance that will resonate with all ages.
