‘Mistrust everything - even your own shadow.’ The Three Musketeers tells the story of d’Artagnan, a feisty young Gascon who sets out for Paris with the hope of joining the King’s Musketeers. He quickly becomes embroiled in a political game much bigger and much more dangerous than he could possibly have imagined. A thrilling adventure of love and revenge unfolds in which d’Artagnan must save not only France but also the woman he loves. Cyphers’ brand new adaptation sees four actors play nearly thirty roles in just under two hours of fast-paced and exhilarating action.
about the artist
At Cyphers we make theatre that stimulates the imagination of its audience. We use a combination of choral story-telling, multi-roling casts and flexible design to create theatre that is charming, accessible and inclusive. Specialising in adaptations of classic texts, we seek to engage audiences with literature by creating a warm, relaxed environment where actors and audience come together to experience a story. Our adaptations are fresh, energetic and constantly changing to reflect the particular audience we have each night.
