7 years upwards. The show

'We cannot recommend the On the Other Hand Puppet Company strongly enough!  They have now played the Great Hall twice - both times transfixing an audience that ranged from 8 - 80.  There is an audible gasp as 'Henry VIII' steps out from behind the curtains - it's almost as though the image has hopped down from the Round Table and has become flesh and blood!!  - and the story of Henry VIII & his six wives is really brought to life.  This show is both educational and immensely enjoyable - we love them!!

Great Hall, Winchester

Its astonishing how much information you give out in the show and yet still keep it entertaining.

Brian Kirk, Manger Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

"John is a very believable Henry VIII - in fact I think he has been re-incarnated as the 'King'! The script and performance are ideally suited for children and the puppets were exquisite; really bringing to life Henry's Queens. Children and adults were equally enthralled and had plenty of questions for the King in his 'Meet the King' session after the show. A very enjoyable event."

Oxburgh Hall, National Trust

Suitable for familes, adults

There is a Q & A session after the show couple with a timeline made with the help of the children in the audience, plus plenty of opportunities for photographs with the King
