Beginnings

by Helenandjohn

theatre, children-and-family

Beginnings is noisy and deliciously disgusting theatre for families where a wrinkly puppet struggles hilariously to create a new world.

about the production

Beginnings is noisy and deliciously disgusting theatre for young audiences where a wrinkly puppet struggles hilariously to create a new world from everyday objects that he finds in a bag. Beginnings is performed without words but accompanied by a fabulous drum kit (making the show highly accessible) and is manipulated by an internationally acclaimed award-winning puppeteer.A show full of mischievous fun advocating the value of persistence! Suitable for all over 4. The show has been very well received in its scratch performance by a diverse family audience.

Our show has very few words and has a live drum kit. We are willing to do shows for audiences with a range of mental capabilities.

We offer workshops in puppet making and performing. These can be for adults only, families or for various age ranges of children over 7 years old. The costs of these workshops are negotiable - fixed fee or box-office split.

The fee for one show in one venue is £780.00, we do however reduce this fee for two shows in the same venue and can also negotiate box office splits.
