Point de fuite - Vanishing point is NOT another cheesy show about immigrants.
about the production
"Vanishing Point" is a wicked cocktail of fiercely ironic performance laced with hilariously surreal buffoonery. The show investigates the way the European Media talks about immigration and puts our reaction in the spotlight. Developed and devised using current Media articles, the show deftly fuses puppetry, technology, an old Pierrot, physical humour, audience participation and a sharp view on today's world to make you sit up and think, as you laugh.
about the artist
Cut Moose is a new collaboration founded by the director Irene Ros and puppeteer Helen Ainsworth. The collaboration is dedicated to creating thought provoking theatre that is visually stimulating, essentially entertaining and often surreal.

We are keen to offer a 2 days workshop (3 hours per day) for students (12+). Through theatre improvisation and puppetry, the young people will be stimulated to analyse articles about immigration.
The attendees will be stimulated to interact with different types of media and recognise different attitudes to immigration therein. Moreover, they will be encouraged to re-write some articles from a different point of view (as if they were written in the past or in another country) and to stage them in an animal form.
One night - £1950
One week - £8250
