When noir world meets our world...

about the production

Private eye & troubled sleeper Charlie Daniels is hired by the seductive Elise Hillerman to investigate the disappearance of her husband - a prominent gallery owner. Meanwhile writers Charlotte & Dan struggle to write their new noir-inspired theatre show about an art forgery ring. A View from the Edge is an original theatre-noir where the search for the truth provokes a mind-bending journey through dreams, imagination & real life. Contains original score from Ben Sutcliffe, (The People's String Foundation), and is directed by award winning film and stage director Brett Harvey (Weekend Retreat).

about the artist

How do you do! ‘Owdyado Theatre produces original work that tours across the UK. We are based in Cornwall and make intelligent, entertaining theatre – normally about people who find themselves in unexpected situations from which everyday philosophical dilemmas arise. Our shows are funny, thought-provoking and we love a good plot twist! Our influences include retro television classic The Twilight Zone and other black comedies such as Inside Number Nine from the team that created The League of Gentlemen. Since we started in 2010, we have produced four shows: About a Bench, Wrongdoings and Wake Up Calls at the Stop-Off
